Multiple injuries have been reported after a bus crashed close to a building on the 600 block of H Street NW, near Capital One Arena, formerly known as the Verizon Center.
WASHINGTON — H Street has reopened after a bus almost crashed into a building on the 600 block of the street. The crash occurred near Capital One Arena, formerly the Verizon Center.
Seven people were injured, according to D.C. Fire and EMS. It remains unclear if they were pedestrians on the sidewalk or passengers on the bus; no life-threatening injuries were reported.
H Street was closed between 6th and 7th streets for several hours.
